If you live in the Sydney area, or, to be more specific, on the north shore and northern beaches, then you can witness the birth of a new radio celebrity! Me! In the prime-time slot of 4am to 6am, I'm presenting the 'Early Start' show on FM99.3, Rythm & Jazz, and no, you can't have my autograph. I am however, attempting to line up some interviews with some minor celebrities, namely Oprah, Tom Cruise and Janis Joplin.
Truth be told, it's all a great mix of whatever-the-hell the computer decides to throw at me at the time of recording, but I've made sure it sounds as cool as cats; Quincy Jones mixed in with some Beatles, Curtis Mayfield side-by-side with The Rolling Stones and you get the idea. As long as it's Rhythm & Jazz, it's in there. Anyway, thats probably enough cross-promotion to make Eddie McGuire roll in his grave, so up yours Dancing On Ice...
Dancing Queen...
...or should that be Walking (Dancing) on Thin Ice. I've always had a place in my heart for the cold, vindictive Yoko Ono, and believe me, it isn't just for that name; the name Yoko Ono is possibly the greatest piece of art she has given to the world, and thats saying something considering she gave us Apple. Click here to behold the magic that is Apple! I think at the current time, the price she could sell this piece at (and yes, I've seen the real thing in Austria) could only be beaten by the supermarket banana (in Australia at least).
Cruisin'
I still prefer Yoko's Apple to Gwnyeth's Apple. What an unfortunate name, in the same name as Klaus or Morticia or Cher. However, it is time I return to the magical world of Legal Studies (oh! how I love you, article twenty-two), and thus, I bid you farewell.
